What do you call a person who loves to join the defence (say army, navy or air force).... work in a leading 5 star hotel as a client relationship manager..... act in a movie....or maybe direct a film...or sit along wid a group of adman and work as the creative director ....set up her own catering unit...n blah blah..????? A confused person right?????? Well, I just talked about me.... I dunno, I just have many ...infact plenty of dreams.....n wishes!!! I dont just like to stick to a particular industry....!!!! I just love to move around and try out evry stuff.... cos I may get bored..no..no..I love to experience different situations..to know the feel of different working environment.......
When I posted my application form for air force common admission test (AFCAT)..... I still remember of being mocked at class.... a meek slim girl with no energy or stamina (dats wht they think) applying for a job which didnt suit her at all....!!!!! These people only thought that the jobs in air force only restricted to pilots or any technical positions... !!!! Ignorance can be forgived :)
And working in a hotel...whoaa..... I just love it..I would get to meet different people.... and thats a great thing..... !!!!! Some of my fav.s include... The Leela, Oberoi group, ITC group of hotels!!!!! Not a bad list right ? :)
Now about working as a creative director....!!!! Thats an awesum idea....!!!! Yea, an idea isnt tht easy to get...!!!!! But, I believe I will be good for tht....Thanx to those times at hostel when we friends used to jump around and enact a new ad .... Latest ad being HIPPO cheese balls.....
Lastly....to act or maybe direct a movie ...!!!! Since childhood, I have been fascinated by movie...celebrities etc etc...!!! Infact Im a movie buff!!!!! Serious movie lovers understand the essence of movies they watch....recognize the director....or the man behind the music ..... !!!!! I love movies which highlight recent social issues....and I dont go for movies which are just based on romance and silly songs.... Here, I would like to share a short film by Nithuna Nevil Dinesh... Its about an old man who works in a roadside foodstall....holding the board "MEALS READY" each day between 12pm to 4 pm..under the scorching sun..... Check it out.... !!!! Brilliantly shot and very touching
